CarLoader : CarLoader is a program that keeps track of cars and tracks for Midtown Madness. I suggest getting this program (http://drive.to/carloader). The Mercury is compatible with CarLoader. If it reads the file as "(error) vpsable.ar", then when its done loading, right click "(error) vpsable.ar" and select "Read Name". It should now say "'88 Mercury Sable". To view the picture, right click "'88 Mercury Sable" and select "View". If it brings up "No Image Found", just try it again and there should be a picture of the car. The picture has been included in the zip file for those who don't have CarLoader.

Recommended : 90-100% Physics, anything lower and the car's steering gets too sensitive and it may tip on two wheels. Don't overuse the handbrake.

Notes : This car is a regular everyday vehicle. Its not very fast, but its great for legal cruising. It tops out at about 96 MPH, but you can get higher when you get hit from behind by a cop or something. The idle is from the in-game Cadillac. The horn is from the Mustang GT. The drive sound is modified from the Cadillac. The bottom of the car is black because not many people look at the bottom of the car when driving. The dash is off BarraCuda's real life car ('87 Ford Taurus). The gas guage is the damage guage (you might not see the needle at first, but when you damage, you'll see the needle). The needles might look weird to some people. Each color of the car has a different license plate number. Burner did the windows and damage for the gray color. I had to recolor the gray textures to make white and maroon. The real-life Mercury Sable came with a 4-speed Auto as standard, so I've included a 4-speed for those who like to use manual.

Known issues : The taillights will do wierd things when damaged to a certain point when driving at night. There is a slight crack in the dashboard. There is a nasty glare on the dashboard. The steering wheel looks cartoonish because no suitable texture could be used (so I drew it). Dash is a bit low. In software render, the dash is screwed up. The bottom is just a black color (interesting note: the in-game Cadillac's bottom texture is off a car that is rear wheel drive).
