CarLoader : CarLoader is a program that keeps track of cars and tracks for Midtown Madness. I suggest getting this program (http://drive.to/carloader). The Windstar is compatible with CarLoader. If it reads the file as "(error) vpwindstar.ar", then when its done loading, right click "(error) vpwindstar.ar" and select "Read Name". It should now say "'96 Ford Windstar". To view the picture, right click "'96 Ford Windstar" and select "View". If it brings up "No Image Found", just try it again and there should be a picture of the car. The picture has been included in the zip file for those who don't have CarLoader.

Recommended : 90-100% Physics, anything lower and the car's steering gets too sensitive and it may tip on two wheels. Don't overuse the handbrake.

Notes : My uncle has a '96 Windstar. I wanted to try to make it because it was boxy, yet round at the same time. I do not like minivans. I prefer a station wagon because of it's more related to a car. The (Ford) Windstar and the (Pontiac) Montana are the only good-looking minivans IMHO. This car is a regular everyday vehicle. Its got a good top speed, and its great for legal cruising. It tops out at about 120 MPH. The idle is from the in-game Cadillac. The horn is from the Mustang GT. The drive sound is modified from the Cadillac. The selection screen sound is a clip of BTO's "Takin' Care of Business". The bottom of the car is black because not many people look at the bottom of the car when driving. Each color of the car has a different license plate number. The real-life Ford Windstar came with a 4-speed Auto as standard, so I've included a 4-speed for those who like to use manual. Also, this particular trim style doesn't have roof racks. The tuning is as close as I can get it. According to MSN CarPoint, the 3.8L engine produced 200hp. Although it seems like a lot, it actually fits well to pull the vehicle in the game. I couldn't find stats for a Windstar, so I used stats from its sister, the '96 Taurus wagon. It's pretty heavy at 1601 kg. Also, it can do 0-60 in a bit under 9 seconds. The camera tuning is from the F350 and I think it suits it well. I don't think that anyone would want to race in a minivan, but that's probably one reason I used partial Cadillac handling.

Known issues : I've kinda lost interest over the months of working on this vehicle so there will be some minor bugs and crap here and there. It has a hard time steering at higher speeds. The bottom is just a black color (interesting note: the in-game Cadillac's bottom texture is of a car that is rear wheel drive). It doesn't have a dash because I didn't want to put one in and I'm a sucky artist and no one really cares if it has a dash.
